Lauren Webley - Physiotherapist
Lauren Webley MCSP

Lauren graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2008 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. During her final year at university, she completed a module in acupuncture and an elective placement with Notts County Cricket Club.

Since graduating, she completed her rotations as a junior physiotherapist in the NHS until 2010 where she followed her passion in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and later the same year became a Senior MSK physio.

Whilst also working within the NHS Lauren sought to develop her skills in sports and paediatric physiotherapy and worked for 5 years with the local mens rugby team and Watford Football Academy.

From 2013, in addition to her NHS work, Lauren set up a private practice at Merchants Taylor's School Northwood, mostly treating the children and some staff. She also worked closely with the schools sports department to help develop the senior athletes in Rugby, Cricket and Hockey by performing pre season injury prevention screening as well as pitch side cover. Furthermore she was able to spend some time shadowing the physio at Middlesex CCC who's first team regularly trained at the school.

Alongside many MSK postgraduate courses, Lauren has completed paediatric orthopaedic workshops and attended a young athletes conference put together by the association of physiotherapists in sports and exercise medicine. She therefore likes to specialise in paediatrics and young athletes, but still enjoys and has a vast experience in working with a huge range of adult injuries and conditions.

Outside of Physiotherapy Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two young girls exploring what Somerset and the southwest has to offer since their recent move from Hertfordshire.
