I have been practising as a Reflexologist for over 12 years. I have a diploma in Reflexology (IIR 2007) and am a Member of the Association of Reflexologists (MAR). I have extensive training in the field of Reflexology, including Maternity Reflexology with Suzanne Enzer and Cancer with Reflexology at Penny Brohn Cancer Care. I have frequently volunteered in charities such as Monica's Trust in Bristol (care and support services for older and disabled people), as well as working with other therapists to promote Reflexology within my local community.
I am committed to providing a sensitive, professional and friendly approach to holistic health and wellbeing. I work with pregnant women as well as children (when accompanied by a parent or guardian).
About Reflexology / Benefits
Reflexology is a complementary therapy, based on the theory that different points on the feet, hands and lower leg relate to different areas of the body. In working with the feet or hands, relaxing techniques and massage will be included, as well as direct pressure on specific points.
Here are some of the areas in which Reflexology can encourage balance and health:
Back and neck pain
Osteo and rheumatoid arthritis
Headaches and migraines
Stress and anxiety
Pregnancy and birth
Fatigue / Chornic fatigue
Post operative healing
I have a huge enthusiasm for Reflexology and its benefits. Drawing on my experience and professional training, through Reflexology I encourage the body and mind to work at its optimum level in a caring and nurturing environment. I have seen wonderful results first hand, through my family and with my clients over the past decade. I work holistically with clients and aim to work alongside allopathic healthcare to promote better health and healing. I highly recommend trying out this deeply relaxing and rebalancing treatment.
I have a 3 year old daughter who brings me great joy and learning, and who also enjoys Reflexology herself as well as giving me the occasional mini-treatment! I use herbalism and nutrition in my daily life, and study in my own time. I love performing music, walking in the Somerset countryside and teaching and enjoying swing dancing.
