I believe self-awareness is the beginning of meaningful change.
You may be seeking to understand confusing emotional reactions or to gain insight into your thoughts, feelings and anxieties. Perhaps issues are surfacing in your friendships or relationships, or that harsh internal voice is louder than usual, and you'd like to know why.
I specialise in working with individuals:
• Seeking personal growth
• Experiencing anxiety, depression or low mood
• Looking for therapy for grief, trauma or loss
• Struggling with exam stress, academic pressure or career anxiety
• Wanting to build confidence and self-esteem
• Feeling detached, numb, or disconnected from life
• Exploring potential neurodivergence (ADHD, autism spectrum)
• Being a highly sensitive person (HSP)
• Integrating experiences that have shifted awareness or perception
During sessions, we might start with practical tools to help you manage immediate challenges, like ways to calm your nervous system or challenge unhelpful thought patterns. As our work develops, we can explore the deeper emotions and patterns beneath the surface, helping you understand and release feelings that may have been stuck for a long time.
Our sessions may incorporate aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems. I sometimes use guided visualisation, mindfulness or body-based awareness methods to help you explore your thoughts and feelings at a deeper level.
Before starting, it’s natural to feel nervous, uncertain or even resistant. You’re stepping into a new kind of relationship – not just with someone else, but with yourself. It makes sense that this can bring up hesitation. I understand this feeling, and I’ll always respect where you’re at and follow your lead and pace.
